Note biographique: Ahmed Amine Jerraya received the engineering degree from the university of Tunis at Tunisia in 1980, a Docteurs Ingenieur degree in 1983 and a Docteur d'Etat degree in 1989 from the University of Grenoble in France. He has held a full research position with the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) in France since 1986. He authored or co-authored more than 100 international publications. He served as a general chair for the 9th International Symposium on System Synthesis (1996), as a program Chair of the Rapid System prototyping Workshop and as a co-chair of the hardware software codesign workshop. He is currently the head of the system-level synthesis group within the laboratory TIMA, Grenoble France
