Résumé: This presentation will focus on challenges and trends in designing custom logic with reliable embedded memories in the GHz performance range. It will cover SRAM, TCAM, RA, Register File and eDRAM compiled arrays in nanometer CMOS technologies for consumers and enterprise product applications.

Note biographique: Pascal Nsame in his current role as a R&D Engineer/Scientist has semiconductor integrated circuit product qualification and reliability responsibilities across multiples CMOS Bulk and SOI technology nodes spanning 0.5um to 22nm. He joined IBM Microelectronics Division in 1999 with a B.S. in Microelectronics, and a M.S. Degree in Physics from University of Quebec, Canada and also pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining IBM, he was at CMC Microsystems from 1996 to 1999 were he had circuit design responsibilities. He has authored and published more than 15 technical papers and holds 20 patents issued or pending. He is a Board member of the IEEE Region 1 including the IEEE Vermont Section, Solid-State Circuit Society, and Reliability Society Technical Chapters.
