The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track full professorship. The successful candidate will conduct high-impact research leveraging automatic control techniques to solve complex process engineering challenges. Their research will focus on modeling, observing, optimizing, and controlling systems to increase their performance and efficiency. The candidate will develop methodologies that improve process understanding and operation, thereby promoting more sustainable and economically viable industrial practices.

The duties attached to this position are as follows:

• Teaching and supervision of students at the three university levels;
• Research and publication in fields related to the position;
• Participation in the educational and administrative activities of the unit and the Faculty;
• Participation in external activities of an academic nature contributing to the influence of the Faculty and the University.
