My research focuses on integrated photonic devices and systems for high-speed optical communications and sensing applications. Our current work includes:
+ silicon photonic devices and subsystems, such as nano-/micro-resonators and grating structures, using advanced CMOS-compatible photonic processes;
+ Large-scale electronic-photonic integrated circuits for optical interconnections in high-performance computing and data centers;
+ Integrated optical transmitters and receivers with advanced modulation formats for next-generation optical and wireless communications;
+ Multidimensional optical multiplexing;
+ New solutions for silicon optical sources for near-infrared and mid-infrared applications.
