IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important for ReSMiQ to provide the scientific community with an English version of its documents. However, if translation errors occur, please note that the French version represents the official version.
ReSMiQ provides researchers at the center affiliated with member institutions with the opportunity to invite an external researcher to participate in their research work by contributing a share of the accommodation and travel costs.
1. Eligibility and characteristics
- Only ReSMiQ co-researcher members affiliated with a partner institution are eligible for this program.
- The visiting researcher must be a professor or researcher in a recognized institution (no postdocs).
- Research work must be related to the research areas of ReSMiQ.
- The amounts are allocated through competition.
- The stay must begin at the latest one year after the allocation of the amount.
- The length of stay is not limited.
2. Amounts allocated
- ReSMiQ pays $3 500 CAN* in fees if the visiting researcher is invited by two or more members.
- The ReSMiQ pays $2,000 CAN* in fees if the visiting researcher is invited by a single member.

3. Submission of the application
Any researcher or group of researchers wishing to obtain financial assistance from ReSMiQ must provide:
- The registration form
- A brief description of the work undertaken (PDF to be attached to the form)
- A recent CV of the visiting researcher (PDF to be attached to the form)
Applications must reach the ReSMiQ administrative offices no later than March 30, 2026.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the visit, a report (1 to 2 pages max.) must be sent to ReSMiQ outlining the work carried out and the impact on the center.
