The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will conduct high-impact research in telecommunications and/or networking. Their work will focus on optimizing resource allocation in complex environments that combine wireless networks, optical networks, and distributed systems. To address these challenges, the research will build on the development of broadband communication technologies and advanced information compression methods. In a context increasingly defined by ubiquitous services, these efforts will aim to enable seamless integration of optical and wireless communications, signal processing, and transmission/reception devices into existing infrastructures. Expertise in cybersecurity and in telecommunications applied to robotics or drones will be considered an asset. Application deadline: February 5, 2026
