Conférencier: Ken Deegan , Hardent, Montréal, Canada
Lieu: École Polytechnique de Montréal ,
Date et heure:
vendredi le 27 février 2009 de 09:00 à 17:00

Résumé: This course shows you how to take advantage of the features available in the Xilinx FPGA architecture, including the Virtex.-4 FPGA, and describes how DSP algorithms can be implemented efficiently. The techniques also demonstrate which decisions at the system level have the greatest impact on the implementation process and product costs.

Note biographique: Ken specializes in digital hardware training and design. His FPGA of choice is Xilinx. His main focus is on FPGA design using VHDL and Verilog.

Ken has 10 years of industrial training experience, and prior to that worked at Concordia University as a teacher/trainer for another 10 years. He has experience doing both industrial training as well as at the University and CEGEP (College) levels. Ken also has a wealth of industrial design experience.

Formally Ken has completed a masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Ken is also certified by Xilinx to train many of their courses.
